4 days in.

After leaving Gatwick 9pm on Saturday (at what seems like a long time a go) we finally made it to our hotel for dinner at 11pm on Sunday after a number of delays (aeroplane faults, air traffic and one or two of our players lost baggage!). Although everyones been pretty tired from jet lag so far it has been a good holding camp. Training twice a day, team meetings, endless amounts of food and energy drinks then bed! Last night we had our first team social evening led by the boys....a night at the races in Bangkok. Once again i proved i should not ever gamble after only picking up one second place winner in ten races...however my team done enough (mainly georgie, who won the individual prize of most won points) to earn enough group points for 3rd place on the podium and to claim back 300 of the 400 baht we put in the entry kitty.
Played the men this morning in a practice match with conditions and restrictions on, although tiring and warm was good to get things ticking over and up the tempo after 4 days of feeling i was treading on water!
Light session this afternoon before hopefully a good meal, followed by my first good nights sleep after stopping myself from napping during the day!
