World University Summer Games 2007
This year's World University Summer Games will take place in Bangkok (8th-18th August) as part of the celebrations for the King's 80th birthday.
The World University Games is an event second in size only to the Summer Olympic Games and provides students from across the globe with the opportunity to experience elite competition in a multi sport environment. Team GBR will be sending it's largest overseas delegation ever and consists of the most talented student athletes in Britain who will compete in 15 sports from Athletics to Water Polo.
The 2007 World University Games promises to be a fantastic sporting and cultural experience for those involved and it is hoped that Team GBR can match the preparation of the Organising Committee with performances that will make our supporters proud.
